The extraordinary power to which one has submitted his wounded self in his visit with Sitka becomes clear in the preamble to the healing session when she sits facing her charge and invites conversation regarding the supplicant's intention. Unbroken eye contact is gently encouraged and one is immediately and irresistably drawn into the shimmering green pools of this lovely woman's soul. The soothing is instantaneous. The sense that her commitment to the healing experience is authentic and undeniable. The incense in the space is intoxicating, the candlelight is pure warmth. But it is the literal vision into Sitka's depth that announces that one has arrived someplace truly special.
Next, supine, eyes blinded, one receives the blessing of the most nuanced and intuitive touch one is likely ever to have experienced. Through the course of my many sessions with Sitka, I have been enveloped in orgasmic bliss, pain so excruciating that I have cried and every degree of tactile, sensual communication falling between these extremes. Sitka does not "provide a service." Sitka elevates her own consciousness to encounter the soul, the pain and the ecstasy of her charge on a level beyond the corporeal. She finds you in a place you never knew you were. Her hands become the compassionate minions of her heart which she has fully opened to receive you. As the session, entirely unique from the one that has preceded it, flows onward, one is transported to a space of pure love because Sitka has made of herself pure love. Her hands are not her only tools - she uses also her incredible voice, Tibetan singing bowls, burning herbs, her feet and limbs and always the recorded devotional music that is the soundtrack of the journey. The heart opens like an infinite sea of lotus. Time ceases. The division between the mortal and the divine vanishes with her touch. Healing is embodied.
My comparatively rich journey through life has taken me around the world, into many hearts and to the glorious heights of ecstasy and the blackest depths of pain. Still, I report with appropriate humility that I have virtually never encountered a person of such grace and gentiliy and intuitive compassion as Sitka Tidepool Ripple. My first encounter with her was random and, inevitably, she will pass out of my mortal life. But however long I trod the earth, Sitka will be a part of my soul. This woman has transformed me and her invitation to ecstasy and healing is extended to all who read this witness. My words fail you and her. That I know. But she will not. Allow yourself her gift.

Since my last Thai session with you, I've been wanting to write a description of what it was like for me. It's been challenging to my rational mind because each experience has been different from the others and the effects have been both profound and subtle. The first time what I noticed most was the difference in my physical body. My aging joints have stiffened, and the unaccustomed stretching you did on each and every one of them had a wonderful effect. The next morning I felt stronger and more limber, and I felt so much like moving that I wanted to jump, and I did so over and over joyfully, because I hadn't done so in years. The last session was even more profound, and after much reflection the last couple of weeks, I've seen that it took me to a new understanding of integration of body, mind and spirit. As I laid there on the mat afterward, I was feeling an internal core of solid energy in a column through my trunk, extending to my head and legs all the way through my toes. My skin was tingling everywhere. After you left the room, I sat up and slowly looked around. Colors were more intense than before. The objects you had placed carefully around the room took on new meaning and significance because I was feeling their energy in my body. When I stood up, I felt extremely energized. Not only was my skin tingling, but an outer layer was vibrating strongly, all radiating outward from my core. I want more of that!
I would advise anyone receiving this from you to be completely open, relaxed and trusting. I don't know what their experience will be--I don't even know what my next one will be. I do know it will be affected greatly by their own deep acceptance.

Sitka's work was comprehensive and multi-layered, covering all the many-faceted angles of transpersonal healing work. Using a synergistic approach, she combined Oracle work, with energy and sound vibration, toning, body work, shamanism and neuro-linguistic re-programming. She began, a day in advance of our first session (notice I said "first" I want another one!) by drawing upon subconscious symbols to help navigate the murky waters of the hidden energies to be examined. The reading was amazingly accurate and brought alot of direction and insight into the course of our work.
To begin, we did some centering and breathing, Chi Gung type excersizes that were helpful in bringing us into the moment and into our bodies and into the space in union. I felt calmed and centered. Next, she positioned me comfortably on the massage table aka healing pallette, whatever we may call it. Through a swift and able lioness "pouncing" approach, Sitka deftly used and manuvuered through her mastering of different healing modalities...using different power stone/chakra alignments, signing bells, songs, tonings, encouraging me to tone and join in vibrational alignments, trusting the songs and sounds that she culled forth in my healing process... We worked.
At the beginning of our session, just prior to my laying down and going inward, she had me speak and then she wrote down in a succint series of "negative affirmations" certain beliefs and stories and debilitating thought-forms that had been causing me alot of stress and pain. We were laying the groundwork for what later on was to be a really unique and effective approach to Neurolinguistic Reprogramming. After our energywork and vibrational toning session, she then proceeded to read back to me, in my newly altered and heighted state of awareness, the words I had been using/hearing/repeating against myself all week. (acutally, on and off for years...)
I was then to repeat back, out loud, in response to each "negative affirmation" or phrase "That's not true...." at which point I was to speak and repeat three times a positive inverse statement to trasform the negative words to positive anthems or magical formulas.
As we went, one by one, down the list, this "externalization" of my internal process was a critical event, in that it allowed me to really hear and feel and "see" all of these negative words for the hollow lies and illusions they were all becoming so clearly to be!! I had never had this combination of work before, and for me, a very head-strong often stubborn type of thinking being, as well a very body-based sound/tone/touch kind of being, the combination really worked! I felt very transformed afterwards and this good feeling lasted for quite some time in my journey.
Lots of good Shakti energy, and lots of ability to open and heal and awaken and divine and inspire... I recommend this session to anyone inspired to work more consciously with reprogramming, breath, word, song, vibrations, subltle energy, pressure-point, relaxation, and conscious expansion. Even though a young woman, Sitka has access to a very grounded and mature fount of healing energy, and as she develops I can only see the work expanding and improving...look out for this young Shamaness Lioness in the coming years! She will be at the gateway of 2012 and ushering you through the Transdimensional Door!

I relate best to practitioners who have some true understanding of deeply painful life experiences. Sitka is such a person. She is one of the wounded healers. One who has been through fire herself and gathered the jewels in the lessons learned there.
When I first met Sitka my impression was, "This woman is so alive". I felt inspired by her calm energy, light, humor and courage. I was moved by her journey of healing and her commitment to continually expand her knowledge of various healing modalities. She practices daily the things she encourages you to do and so her advice carries a bit more weight than those who advise without doing the work themselves.
I see in Sitka a sincere passion and devotion to her calling as a healer. She has a strong yet gentle presence and is skilled at helping you clear jumbled mind debris and create very specific and clear intentions for a given session.
And the sessions themselves are an adventure. She dares to let spirit guide the format once intentions are set and so each session has its own particular flavor and rhythm. One day we may focus on grounding exercises and dance, another day may be about meditation and toning. I found it very inspiring to recognize the health-giving power of my own voice and body. All the while beautiful music plays in the background and healing fragrances spiral softly.
She has created a peaceful energetic space that feels safe to surrender and relax into. In meditation I had a memorable vision---trees sprouted all around the room and I was suddenly in a lush forest with sun filtering through the leaves.
Working with Sitka reminds me that healing work need not be drab and colorless--this has been a revelation for me having endured years of traditional therapy. I experience a pure sense of delight before a session with Sitka as I wonder what will unfold. At the end I am always pleased to note how I feel closer to the earth as well as lifted and light.

How did you do that? When I get a great session like that with you today, my appreciation for it always comes afterwards. You may not know how good they can be either because you are giving, not receiving. You need to know that it was great. Here are a few for instances ::
- I put my hand on the side of my head to repeat the Cranial Sacral feeling and I couldn't even start to get there.
- You got me to "become almost asleep but not quite" during the Thai. I was expecting it during the Cranial Sacral. I can still feel it at 11:00 pm.
- Something I already knew but love to keep learning, is how human kindness is EVERYTHING.
No touch goes unappreciated, especially after my body has had time to transform. My body is much looser, my aches are almost gone and I'm refreshed. Oh, and I find it easy to keep my posture right. It's so much better than my traditional massage. I feel like my senses are integrated, and so I feel more relaxed and grounded.

One thing different about Sitka is that she uses not one method - such as reiki - but multiple methods based on her intuitions about who she's working with. I've done sound healing sessions, reiki, group meditation, but Sitka's methods were by far the most effective for me.
This is what we did:
-Sat down and talked for a little bit about what I wanted to concentrate on healing, what my intentions were for this session
-Did deep-breathing from the diaphram, while playing recorded digeridoo and crystal singing bowl music
-Lay down on the massage table.. more deep breathing while receiving reiki
-Deep massage into different chakra centers
-Crystals and a singing bowl on my body
-Singing and chanting together from our own voices
-Silence and meditation
By far the best effects I've ever had from a healing session. I just lay there, completely relaxed, my body vibrating and pulsing. I closed my eyes and could see myself as particles and waves, and I felt very clear all the way through. My breathing slowed and I entered a partial dream state, where I could calmly contemplate and meditate. Afterwards, a sense of deep calm and objectivity, and lots and lots of energy! I'd recommend her sessions for anyone.

Sitka is the most remarkable human being I've meet in a long time. I have over 25 years of spiritual practice and psychic experience to tell the well-meaning New Age pretenders from the people who "get it". Sitka gets it... I mean REALLY gets it. If you approach her with sincerity and respect (that she's earned and deserves) and an openness to The Goddess that she so skillfully embodies she can lead you to a place in your own heart that you may have forgotten about or never knew existed in the first place. It may seem scary to allow oneself to be that open and vulnerable but you just might find your fears (even ones that you didn't think you had) turn into tears of joy under her extraordinarily loving touch. I did and I'm infinitely richer for the experience. Sitka offers a very generous and special experience. She'll have a special place in my heart for the rest of my life.
